Challenge: Rebuild and Re-Brand in just 14 days.

This is a complete overhaul of the website and brings in content from as well. Designed to largely replace the former, SearchFoundation is not only about re-aligning services for search engine optimisation to account for updates to Google in the last few years, but also about starting to build an identifiable brand.

Built on WordPress

I never have a lot of time on my hands, because it’s always spent on crazy challenges I set myself. My spare time is eaten up by so many things. Why not add one more item into the mix? I spent 2 hours creating the logo and deciding on colour was even easier – I just can’t afford the $5k-20k brand-building exercise quoted by the agency. At the end of the day, this website is not about design, it’s about whether or not it works. More than that, this is even the Brand Identity that I chose for it – that the website should be developed on a Search Foundation. They have to be discoverable in Google as their top priority and work as a business tool next. Design is secondary.

Design iteration 1.0. Fully responsive to screen size, with some alternate elements for mobile devices, responds well on all screens. I’m no designer, so it’s a little rough.
